Note 22 April 2004: since a couple of months now, the planning is not respected anymore: we are a bit late according to the planning! The route is approximately respected (the order of the countries has a bit changed though) except that before heading for Malaysia, we want to visit Burma - about 20 days... More details can be read in the Adventures in South-East Asia!
Here's a short description of the South-East Asian countries we intend to visit during our trip. Note that we have placed Indonesia in a separate chapter because of the size of the country (so, for the planning in Indonesia, click here). Once again, these are some of the places we would like to visit the most.... everything can (and certainly will) change once we're there. If there are places that you think we really should not miss, contact us.
Interesting to note, Thailand is about half-way to our final destination!!!
